The deadline for submitting all entries is 7 September 2024.

Submission & Pricing

+ Where do I start?
Once announced, start by looking through the briefs in detail. Each brief will be detailed with deliverables, and a submission guide. Once you’ve identified which brief you want to work on – download the brief and brief pack and get cracking.

+ What are the submission requirements?
The submission requirements and deliverables vary from brief to brief.

+ Can I submit an entry to more than one brief?
Yes. You can create and submit an entry to as many briefs as you like.

+ How much does it cost?
NIL. All entries to the Kyoorius Young Blood Awards are free.

Eligibility

+ Who can enter?
Young Bloods, or young working professionals or full-time design and communication students aged 28 and below.

+ I am not studying design but I have an idea. Can I submit an entry?
Yes. The Kyoorius Young Blood Awards are open to all students – studying any subject or specialty.

+ Can we enter as a group or team?
Yes. Up to two people can work together and enter as a team. Everyone on the team must meet the eligibility criteria (check “Who can enter?”).

+ Can I team up with friends from other universities/ agencies / companies? Or those who have already graduated?
Yes, you can enter with anyone who’s eligible, even if they don’t study at the same university / college/ company as you. Students and non-students can work together too.

+ I am an Indian citizen but study abroad. Can I enter?
Yes.

+ I am not an Indian citizen but study in India. Can I enter?
Yes.

+ Is there a limit to how many entries one can enter?
No. You can enter as many entries as you like.

+ Can I enter my own work or one of my school projects?
No. Entries are only accepted in response to the briefs available.

+ What are the briefs that I can work on?
All briefs are set by real brands. View them here.

+ I’m a student, but I’ve done a professional project. Where do I submit this?
This work must be submitted in the relevant professional awards programme. Visit awards.kyoorius.com to choose from the Kyoorius Creative Awards or the Kyoorius Design Awards. Your entry is subject to rules, regulations and pricing of the professional categories.

+ Who will be judging my work?
As always, Kyoorius will be curating a jury comprised of the very best of global and Indian creative and design experts. The jury will be revealed soon.

Judging + Supporting Information

+ What is the judging procedure?
The Kyoorius Young Blood Awards follow a comprehensive multiple-round judging process where jurors base their decisions on three criteria:
- An original and inspiring idea / concept / use of principle
- Execllent execution
- Relevance to context
All decisions pertaining to judging and winning are solely the responsibility and onus of the jury.

+ What supporting information is needed for my entries?
This will detailed in the briefs itself. There will be a field to enter your supporting information once you create your entries online.

+ Do I have to supply the supporting information requested?
What you say about your work will help judges understand its background and context, so we do recommend you supply supporting information.

+ How should I write my supporting information?
Make it as clear, concise and straight-to-the point as possible.

+ Do I need to provide translations?
Yes, if your work was not originally released in English. We only accept translations to be given on the online entry form, and not as a separate document or film.

Results & Winnings

+When will the results be announced?
All announcements will be made on kyb.kyoorius.com and @kyoorius on Instagram. Stay tuned!

+ What does it mean to win a Baby Red Elephant?
Winning a Baby Red Elephant means that you are now nominated for the Red Elephant. Upon winning a Baby Red Elephant, you will receive a feature in the Kyoorius Winners’ Showcase and a Baby Red Elephant.

+ What do I get upon winning the Red Elephant?
– A gorgeous Red Elephant trophy.
– INR 50,000/- as cash prize.
– Pass to Designyatra.
– Entry details in the Kyoorius Winners’ Showcase
– Right to use the relevant Red Elephant Mark.
